I'd had this outfit in mind for quite a long time before I actually wore it, as the weather was quite cold until recently. It was the premiere for my new hat I scored at TK Maxx and decorated with blouse tie and my mum's handmade brooch. As you can see on the detailed photos, I repeated some of the colors present on the dress in my accessories, such as the pale khaki scarf and purple flowers on the handbag.
I got this H&M dress ages ago, and I was quite surprised when I saw very similar dresses in the F/W 2015 collections of several brands. I actually don't like it a lot as it is, but since it is still in a good shape and has a flattering cut, I am trying to come up with ways to make it suit my personal style better. During college, I was trying to pair it with dark khaki, purple and burgundy, but the result always seemed a bit forced and outdated. On the other hand, I really like the vibe it gives when combined with the powder pink coat.
Dress: H&M, Germany
Coat: Liz Lisa, Mode Off outlet, Tokyo
Hat: BCBGeneration, TK Maxx, Bremen
Shoes: Parisian, SM Mall, Manila
Bag: Deichman
Scarf: borrowed from my mum
One of the features I like about the coat is the very wide bottom part, which has a nice, feminine movement and fits even over fuller skirts.
The ribbon is actually a blouse tie from a Liz Lisa Blouse, and the flower was handmade by my mum!
i can't stress how lovely this whole outfit is! <3 everything is so well put together.
