Jetoy Choo Choo New Year Gift Packs and Lucky Packs

You can't imagine my excitement when I saw the Choo Choo cat lucky packs in Jetoy store in Apgujeong. Korea is not Japan, so normally, there are no surprise bags, in which you might get a pile of weird stuff, but very often beautiful things from past seasons for a fraction of the original price. This in fact is the first surprise pack I have seen (not counting the shady cosmetics ones on memebox app) in Korea so far. As for the lucky bags, I have seen them in Apgujeong, I have NOT seen them in Edae and I haven't checked Insa-dong. They are not available in Jetoy shelf-in-store displays (such as Lotte Fittin or Kyobo bookstore). The surprise bags come in two versions, 10 000 KRW (Yi bought it - it has two planners, note-pad, card, bank note holder and maybe something else) and 20 000 KRW Christmas bag (no idea what is inside the tote bag, but it is very light and small, so I assume it's something made from fabric too). I was seriously considering getting the 20 000 one, but the exchange rate is awful these days, so I decided it might not be worth taking the risk for the price.

Honestly, I still think the see-through Gift pack is the best deal, and it is available for a much longer period of time - or rather, different gift packs are released throughout the year. Check my Insa-dong post from last year to see the summer 2014 version.

The Sheep pack is very similar - it also has a folder, mousepad, stickers and pen. But best of all, it has one of their cute mini planners for 2015, which I've wanted for years. It took me 3 Jetoy stores to find a pack with the planner I wanted, so you see how obsessed I've been with it. I think it's beautiful and reasonably cute for my age (I suppose some people would beg to differ though).
