Jeonju II

I failed to find out the name of this area, but when you walk towards the Nature Ecology Museum in Jeonju, somehwere where the Imokdae is on the map, there is an extremely poor and rundown neighborhood, where houses have been painted by artists to give it a little happiness and tourist appeal. The area seems completely bereft of locals, but it is filled with couples taking selfies against the romantic walls and dressed-up girls helping each other take good pictures for their profile or blog. There are several cute cafes and an extremely weird place - you would never have guessed what it is (so keep reading to find out).

I was walking, taking pitures and evading underage couples, whe I suddenly saw the least expected thing in that neighborhood. Do you know what this place is?

Recognize these birds?

Apparently there's an ostrich farm or something. Gerald will be beyond himself with joy, since he likes to call me an Ostrich-girlfriend (I walk at super-human speed). I felt quite sorry for the small space the birds had to move around in, though it's possible there was a bigger place for them in the backyard.

Don't these look like Etude House's packaging?

Yours truly
Vita

  1. Takhle z fotek má to místo úžasné charisma a některé malby jsou opravdu skvělé.

    1. Na místě je to charisma bohužel trochu ovlivněné záplavami školaček, ale rozhodně je to krásné místo, co stojí za návštěvu. :)

I love street art and I think the houses look way too adorable and I know, like you said, they are made this way for tourists but again it is so beautiful! (:

    1. Thank you! Haha glad to hear I'm not the only person who hates walking slowly. =D And yes, the "are you in a hurry" questions. =D
