Tutorial: Bow Necklaces

Oh guys, I had my last exam on Friday. I was really stressed, because first, it was a subject meant for older students from a different major on top of that (but I'm obviously an arrogant idiot who thinks recommendations don't concern her), second, it was the exam that was going to decide my GPA and third, I just had too many exams this semester. Now it's finally over, so I hope I can expect to get a scholarship in winter. I'm still not certain though, because I haven't taken two exams (therefore I have no grades from them) - I'm not sure if that doesn't disqualify me... Otherwise, I have straight A's and many more credits than I need for now, and these subjects weren't obligatory for me to begin with, but I'm not sure if simply deciding not to finish a subject doesn't throw you off the candidate list. Anyway, I've been in a daze since Friday, sleeping a lot (since I didn't really sleep well before the exam) and yesterday, I went to a Glass Festival (that's how they called 3 bead shops and a camion with about 10 chandeliers) and then did some shopping - I got the coolest autumn boots for 15 E and two beautiful knits, you'll see one of them below and the other one in an outfit post, as well as the shoes. And I also saw a bunch of bow necklaces from I Am that I thought were so easy to make, I really didn't have to spend money on them. Oh, the last sentence was actually the only one I needed to write to introduce today's post. The rest is just me being even chattier than usually.  

V pátek jsem si konečně odbyla poslední zkoušku tohoto semestru - takhle jsem se už dlouho žádné zkoušky nebála. Jenže tahle jednak definitivně rozhodla o mém průměru, druhak byla určená pro lehce starší studenty z jiného zaměření (ale já jsem arogantní tele, které si myslí že ročníková doporučení se ho netýkají) a za třetí jsem prostě tenhle semestr měla těch zkoušek moc. Teď je to konečně za mnou a doufám, že v zimě můžu očekávat příchod stipendia na účet, ačkoliv si nejsem pořád stoprocentně jistá, že ho dostanu, neb jsem na dvě zkoušky vůbec nešla a tedy za ně nemám žádné známky. Jinak mám sice samé jedničky (jak říká babička: "fuj ty šprtko"), nahrabáno kreditů až kam a ony dva předměty nebyly povinné, ale zkrátka nevím, jestli nesplnění čehokoliv člověka automaticky nevyřadí ze stipendijního pořadníku. Každopádně jsem od pátku v lehkém transu, dospávám, co jsem nenaspala před zkouškou a včera jsem se navíc byla podívat na Festivalu skla (tak nazvali 3 obchody a kamion s 10 lustry) a prošmejdila pár obchodů - ulovila jsem nejdokonalejší zimní boty za 400 Kč a dva úžasné svetry, jeden uvidíte za chvíli o pár obrázků níž, druhý v nějakém budoucím outfitu, stejně tak i boty. A taky jsem v I Am viděla náhrdelníky s mašličkami a řekla si, že jsou tak jednoduché, že za ně nebudu utrácet peníze. A tahle poslední věta byla vlastně to jediné, co jsem skutečně potřebovala na úvod tohoto článku říct. Ten zbytek je jen důsledek mojí enormní ukecanosti.

Chain/řetízek

4 things you flatten with your pliers and they keep the thread where it is, I'm gonna call it "flattable bead" - please tell me how you call it in English, I couldn't find it/4 kusy zamačkávacího rokajlu

Closure/zapínání

2 small jump rings/2 malé kroužky

Nylon thread/vlasec

Scissors/nůžky

Pliers/kleště

Needle and thread/jehla a nit

A piece of ribbon/kus stuhy

Time/čas:

20 min

How to/Návod:

1) Split the piece of chain in 2 and connect both pieces to the closure via jump rings.

Rozpulte řetízek a obě části napojte na zapínání přes kroužky.

 

2) Tie a bow in whatever way you like.

Uvažte mašličku, jakýmkoliv způsobem jste zvyklí.

 

3) Put half of the beads on a piece of nylon thread, make a little loop at the end and secure it with the flattable bead. Hide the end of the thread inside the beads. Then repeat on the other side, but first pull the thread through the chain so that it will be connected.

Provlečte vlasec půlkou korálků, na jedné straně udělejte smyčku a zajistěte ji zamačkávacím rokajlem, konec nitě zasuňte dovnitř korálků. To samé zopakujte na druhé straně, jenom nejprve provlékněte vlasec ještě řetízkem, abyste obě částí spojili.

 

4) Sew the nylon loop to the back of your bow.

Našijte smyčku na zadní stranu mašle.

Here's a bunch of ideas of how to wear it. I have to say I don't really like the light yellow one with flowers, I might chnage the bow later on. Also, I apologize for the lightning and looking slightly wasted (I had totally cute eye make-up, at least before it melted away), I shot these at around midnight TT___TT.

Zde je několik nápadů, jak náhrdelník nosit. Nějak nakonec nejsem úplně nadšená z toho světle žlutého s růžičkami, možná tu mašli časem vyměním. A omlouvám se za osvětlení a za to, jak vypadám (měla jsem fakt hezky nalíčené oči, než se roztekly) - fotila jsem to někdy po půlnoci TT____TT.
